Tobechi Ebede, MD, FAAD, a board-certified dermatologist and fellowship-trained Mohs surgeon, founded Plaza Park Dermatology on a simple philosophy: To educate and empower patients with the ability to maintain their skincare at home. This practical-yet-compassionate approach carries over to every aspect of her practice, which emphasizes timely, accessible, personalized treatment.

A graduate of Dartmouth College, Dr. Ebede earned her medical degree at the University of Rochester School of Medicine. She was voted “Intern of the Year” at Mount Sinai St. Luke’s-Roosevelt Hospital, before progressing to Dermatology residency training at Weill-Cornell/NYPH. She completed a prestigious Mohs surgery/procedural dermatology fellowship at the joint NYU-Memorial Sloan-Kettering program.  Dr. Ebede is a member of the Weill Cornell and Mount Sinai teaching faculty, where she is actively involved in the education of medical students and resident physicians.

Dr. Ebede is a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology, American College of Mohs Surgery, American Society of Dermatologic Surgery, and the Women’s Dermatologic Society. She has published many articles and chapters in the field of dermatology and Mohs surgery.

In her free time, Dr. Ebede enjoys traveling and has a particular interest in international medicine. She has participated in volunteer trips to Belize, Nicaragua, and the Philippines, and looks forward to more international medical missions in the future. Closer to home, Dr. Ebede is delighted to offer her skincare expertise—with a focus on educating and empowering patients—to the Brooklyn area.
